| "Race set from eTM Kyoto National round. My fastest lap was just 1/100 of a second slower than the fastest lap that eTM international guy did (well faster than Bawbag and Jay :p). It's a clutch packed diff set, many people (fast germans) will disagree - but it's just something that Sracer and I concluded was better than locked diff. Reasons are many but let's just say there's no way a locked diff can be smoothley turned in around T1 (smoothly = without excessive rearwards brake bias and snatching out the rear under braking so the car turns in quite violently), and locked diff is more suited for fast tracks with sweaping corners where it adds some stability to the car - KY2 being a track with a lower coeficient of friction, the LSD just puts the power down better with a more predictable behaviour. Just take my word for it, me - a noob, was just as fast on this set as "pro" guys on their precious locked diff. People usually lose a lot of time in the 2nd to last turn on this track (left hander before 2nd split) - just start braking a bit earlier than it feels natural and dont miss the apex, on the exit just straighten out the wheel really early and full throttle - car should just push all the way to out to the exit in a zero countersteer "slip" (not slide)." | ||||||
