| "Oki, I got the base for this set from Jay because they did the Westhill round of eTM before the Balkan guys (as usual). The set was not really well aerodynamically balanced and had the locked diff with 64 % brake biass on it. Also, 6th gear was just garbage, totally useless, was topping out on 7900 rpm or something (peak power being on 8106 and not dropping until the redline). Got rid of all that, slapped on a high preload - high locking factors LSD diff on there, so it kept some stability but was just easier on the front tires which were usually burning up by the end of the hotlap. Not much else to say, again eTM rules - 3 laps with 8 % fuel, for a pure hotlap setup you can just add more cambers and take of some pressures from the tires. PB isn't really all that great but I had splits for a 29.4, just couldn't put together a good lap in a 15 min qual session with no shift p." |
